Is my donation eligible for a tax rebate?
Yes. Padmashali Seva Bhavi Sanstha is officially registered under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Donors are eligible to deduct 50% of their donation amount from their taxable income. To avail this, you must provide your PAN details during transfer or email them to us.
How long does it take to receive the tax receipt?
Once we verify your bank transfer screenshot or UPI notification, our finance team issues a digital receipt (Form 10BE) via email within 5 to 7 working days. The trust uploads consolidated records annually to the Income Tax Portal.
Does the trust accept donations in kind?
Yes, we welcome physical donations. You can donate new notebooks, school supplies, textbooks (matching Maharashtra State Board curriculum), water bottles, tree sapling bags, or medical first-aid kits. To coordinate a drop-off at our Patilpada Tarapur center, please call +91 7972923090.
How do you ensure transparency in fund utilisation?
Our accounts are audited annually by certified Chartered Accountants, and statements are submitted to the Charity Commissioner and MCA. We maintain zero corporate administrative cost structure; all trustees work on a voluntary basis, ensuring donations directly benefit on-ground programs.
